Team Avery's Fundraiser page for the Amy Thompson Run

Chris's Donation page for the Amy Thompson Run - Help Chris be the TOP FUNDRAISER in the run!

Thanks for helping our team raise money for such a worthy cause! We are so excited to support a wonderful organization. We are very proud of Avery for wanting to give back to the community! She is example on how full life can be while living with a traumatic brain injury (TBI).

Avery received a TBI in a car accident in November 2004. She was in a coma for 11 days, and when she woke up she could not remember how to walk, talk, or even swallow. Avery was in the hospital for a month, and extensive therapy for a year. She is currently in 4th grade and doing very well. Avery, along with our family and friends, support the Brain Injury Association of Kansas and Greater Kansas City in whatever way we can. They were very helpful to our family when we needed it, and they continue to assist the community through education and prevention. Thank you for your interest and support of Team Avery and the Amy Thompson Run for Brain Injury!

Avery's birthday party on April 30th at Landmark Skate Center was a great success. She has asked anyone attending to give to the Amy Thompson Run for Brain Injury rather than giving her a gift. For her birthday, she was able to raise over $400 for the Amy Thompson Run!

Extended Team Avery info:

Team Avery is currently the second highest earning team in the Amy Thompson Run (WOOHOO!) Avery's efforts have brought in over $750 so far, and the team has gotten over $1000 total!

If you have not registered for the race, and wish to do so, please goto the Amy Thompson - Main Page link below. Do it quickly, Online registration ends May 26th at 5pm!!

Registration is $30 per person. If you register for the team, we are expected to raise $100 for each team member. The registration fee counts towards the $100. I don't think this will be a problem, but I wanted to make sure that everyone was aware.

If you have officially registered for the race, make sure you go into the event united site and generate your donation site. Once that is done, your name in the team roster will become a hyperlink and you can post that link in emails, on facebook, and wherever else you want to give people an easy link to donate. You can also do the same with the team donation site, if you prefer. Team Avery t-shirts are in the works.

Well, I think that is about it for now. Thank you for your interest and support of Team Avery and the Amy Thompson Run for Brain Injury!
